- In case you have slim shanks. A great idea is to select anything with flexibility - stretchy fibers, buckles, cords - so that boots will have a possibility to take shape of the legs. Avoid cumbersome cuts. Think of wearing them with a patterned skirt and contrasting tights to add more size.

Keep out of pull-on designes which are tricky to get into, boots that end at the most wide part of the calf muscle. Think about wearing them with pantyhose or leggings in a congruent color to compose a long, exquisite line.
