Avoid pull-on forms which are complicated to get into, boots that end at the widest part of the calf muscle. Think of wearing them with leggings or pantyhose in a matching coloration to make a long, subtle line.
- If you have short legs. You should better opt for wedges or heels to lengthen the legs visually. Watch out for slouchy cuts, straps, square toes which add breadth. It is recommended wearing them with a pencil skirt or slim pants to keep the even, stretching effect.
- In case you have slim calves. It is recommended to opt for anything with flexibility - elastic fibers, clasps, ties - so that boots can mold to the shanks. Try to keep out of cumbersome cuts. Try wearing them with contrasting tights and a patterned skirt to add more size.
- If you have wide feet. You should better get almond-shaped or round rather than pointy toes which proffer a lot of space and thin heels for a touch of femineity. Avoid expanding elements, for example clasps or straps, close to your ankle. You may try wearing them with trousers that skim the toe box to veil the width of your foot.
